msn messenger 7?

Hi all,
I was just talking to sandj and Beeko on audio tips, and John says msn messenger 7 will work with jaws and windows 98. I have my doubts, since 6.2 won't, but he's going to send her the file, so I thought I'd come in here and see if anyone has used msn messenger 7 and jaws with windows 98, and find out if it works for anybody. well that's what sanddj said. that was the first i'd heard of it also. Somehow, I have my doubts about it working with jaws and 98. He said it would work with jaws 5, but I'm using jaws 6, but I stilll have jaws on my computer.

Whilst an attempt has been made, jaws is not quite ready for msn 7 yet as far as I can see. there are several instances of advertising that has not been scripted around. I am no scripter so I cannot give any more details than this. scripters, correct me if this is not the case.

i have used msn 7 with jfw 5.10 under xp. it work to some extent but, one has to tab around to read incoming messages.

well, I'm pretty sure it wouldn't work at all with jaws 6 and windows 98, and if it's not like it use to be with jaws 5 and msn messenger 5, where jaws just automatically read incoming messages, I don't want it. Thanks all for your responses,

Yeah I heard that jaws is not quite ready for that version.
